QUALITY, ENVIRONMENT & SAFETY

Integrated Management System & Policies (HSEQ)

All production and service operations at Çeksan Shipyard are executed under an Integrated Management System encompassing Quality, Environment, and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS). The project management process is subject to strict supervision and procedures at every stage, from contract signing to post-delivery support.

Quality Management (ISO 9001)

Our quality standards have been certified with ISO 9001 since 2003. Thanks to our expert technical team and systematic production monitoring, all new building projects undertaken to date have been delivered on schedule, achieving a 100% on-time delivery record.

Environmental Management & Sustainability (ISO 14001)

The shipyard operates on the principle of "maximum efficiency, minimum waste." Under the ISO 14001 standard implemented since 2010, waste management, emission monitoring, and disposal processes are conducted in full compliance with legal regulations.

• Low Noise and Vibration: High priority is given to acoustic insulation in vessel construction. Measurements conducted in accommodation and hospital areas have recorded noise levels as low as 48 dB. These figures are significantly below the 60 dB limit set by the IMO (International Maritime Organization).

Occupational Health and Safety (ISO 45001)

Recognizing the inherent risks in heavy industry and shipbuilding, the highest safety standards are implemented to prevent workplace accidents and occupational illnesses. Our OHS practices and risk management processes are accredited with ISO 45001 certification.

Sectoral Recognition & Award

Our consistent approach to quality, sustainability, and safety was recognized in 2007 by a committee representing the academic and commercial maritime sectors, awarding Çeksan Shipyard the Golden Anchor Award for "Best Shipyard of the Year."
