We are proud to announce the successful delivery of M/T AMONITH, an 8,100 DWT stainless steel IMO II chemical tanker built for the Poland-based shipowner Unibaltic.
In addition to the three previous vessels we constructed with Marineline-coated cargo tanks, M/T AMONITH — completed with stainless steel cargo tanks — has become one of the significant projects reflecting our shipyard's environmentally friendly and efficient shipbuilding approach.
Thanks to her optimized hydrodynamic hull form developed by Turkish engineers, the vessel has been designed to provide high operational efficiency and low fuel consumption.
Classed under Dual Class by Bureau Veritas and Türk Loydu, M/T AMONITH was built with methanol-prepared infrastructure to support the maritime industry's transition toward alternative fuels. The vessel is also equipped with an SCR system for reducing NOx emissions, a ballast water treatment system, and the CleanShip notation.
With an overall length of 117.9 meters and a beam of 17 meters, the vessel's cargo tanks were constructed from Duplex 2205 stainless steel, enabling the safe transportation of heavy chemicals and acid cargoes.
Built with Cold Ironing-prepared infrastructure for shore power connection during port operations, M/T AMONITH also incorporates advanced automation and energy management systems, representing modern maritime technologies.
As Çeksan Shipyard, we will continue our activities in the international maritime industry through sustainable and high-technology shipbuilding projects.
We wish M/T AMONITH fair winds and following seas as a valuable addition to the Unibaltic fleet, along with safe and successful voyages ahead.
Fair winds and calm seas.
